Onions Billboard
This easter egg can be seen in all versions of the movie.
Description
Near the end of the movie when Gru defeats Balthazar Bratt and sends him floating away in his own gum, as Bratt floats away viewers can see him slam into a billboard as Gru walks away.
The billboard that Bratt slams into is promoting a movie called, “Onions”, but fans of the Despicable Me franchise will recognize this billboard as a parody of the posters for the Minions movie in which minions Kevin, Bob, and Stuart are looking up in fear as the shadow of Scarlet Overkill looms over them.
