Ferrari Headquarters License Plate
This easter egg appears in all versions of the movie.
Luigi, the yellow Fiat and owner of “Luigi’s Casa Della Tires” in Radiator Springs makes a point when he first meets Lightening McQueen to let him know that he only likes Ferrari race cars.
He loves Ferrari so much that his license plate number (44.5-10.8) is actually the GPS coordinates for the Ferrari Headquarters building in Maranello, Italy.
In order to confirm this easter egg just follow these instructions:
1) This link will take you to the Ferrari Headquarters location on Google Maps. (goo.gl/Jrhrww)
2) Once loaded, you should see a red marker on the map. That is where the headquarters is located. Right-Click on it and select, “What’s here?”
3) You should now see the GPS coordinates at the bottom of the page. Those numbers are: 44.532912, 10.863995
